Six solutions for more reliable infant research

Infant research is often underpowered, undermining the robustness and replicability of our findings. Improving reliability infant studies offers a solution for increasing statistical power independent sample size. Here, we discuss two senses term in context research: reliable (large) effects measures. We examine circumstances under which are strongest measures most use synthetic datasets to illustrate relationship between effect size, measurement reliability, power. then present six concrete solutions more (a) routinely estimating reporting size tasks, (b) selecting best tool, (c) developing better paradigms, (d) collecting data points per infant, (e) excluding unreliable from analysis, (f) conducting sophisticated analyses. Deeper consideration will improve ability study development.
